The Blue Planet - Seas of Life

This BBC series of 8 fifty-minute programs, is one of the most comprehensive explorations of the Earth's ocean. From the deep to the shore, from pole to pole the series reveals extraordinary life and behavior that had never before been filmed. In some cases the species were only recently known to scientists.

The Life of Birds

This compelling eight hour series and accompanying outreach materials, tells the story of the great diversity of animal life on Earth. The Shape of Life was produced by Sea Studios Foundation for National Geographic Television and Film in association with PBS. The initiative was recognized for its science-based content, style, storytelling, pioneering techniques in underwater and deep-sea filmmaking, and integrated outreach model that achieved high levels of public participation.
