Ocean Sciences Sequence

The Ocean Sciences Sequence curriculum (OSS) for grades 3-5 and 6-8 is a collaboration between MARE, GEMS (Great Explorations in Math and Science), Rutgers University, and NOAA Scientists. This grant project is funded by NOAA in an effort to create high-quality ocean sciences curriculum for grades 3-5 and 6-8 that address the Ocean Literacy Framework. These sequences will provide educators the tools to teach essential science concepts in the unique and important context of ocean science.

The Ocean Sciences Sequences are funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration: OSS 3-5 Award #NA07SEC4690003, OSS 6-8 Award #NA09SEC4690010
