This color poster, designed for grades preK to 6, is one of a series of posters produced by the National Science Teacher Association (NSTA) journal SCIENCE AND CHILDREN, in cooperation with the Science Curriculum Improvement Study (SCIS). The front of this poster includes the title, brief description, and color illustrations of a tanker ship and some of the over 2,000 species that have been identified living on ship hulls.
